Trèves Group and Green & Light enter a strategic cooperation with regards to the PU Spraying Technology

TREVES GROUP, a global leader in acoustic and thermal insulation solutions for the automotive industry, headquartered in Issy Les Moulineaux, France, has reached an agreement with GREEN & LIGHT for the Creation of a Joint Venture dedicated to the PU Spraying Technology, sometimes referred to as Baypreg Technology. 

GREEN & LIGHT, headquartered in Taicang, China is a leading supplier of components using the PU Spraying Technology for the transportation industry, employing 600 people in two facilities in the larger Shanghai area. 

TREVES GROUP and GREEN & LIGHT agreed on the creation of a New Company names TREVES GREEN & LIGHT COMPONENTS incorporated in China. TREVES GROUP will hold a majority stake in TREVES GREEN & LIGHT COMPONENTS 

GREEN & LIGHT will transfer its technology and current business into the New Company and TREVES GROUP will bring in its international experience, its worldwide footprint as well as its R&D expertise. 

TREVES GREEN & LIGHT will have two plants in China and will, using the TREVES GROUP footprint, set up immediately a manufacturing plant in Mexico. 

TREVES GREEN & LIGHT COMPONENTS is proud to be a Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 supplier for ail major OEMs, including some of the leading New Energy Vehicles (NEV) OEMs. 

Through this transaction, TREVES GROUP reinforces its presence in its key markets, further strengthens and diversifies its customer portfolio and establishes itself as a market leader with regards to the PU Spraying Technology, a solution for acoustic and interior trim parts in New Energy Vehicles (NEV).
