Are you ready to manage the product development of innovative automotive components from the initial idea to pre-series production? As the main technical contact for our OEM customers, you are the interface between vision and reality. In one of the most interesting and diverse industries, the automotive industry, many exciting and demanding tasks related to product development await you. Do you enjoy working with materials and their properties and would you like to use this knowledge for products that are used in thousands of vehicles all over the world? Then you've come to the right place! We develop components for the automotive interior, as well as encapsulations for combustion and electric engines, and many other automotive components.

Your Tasks:

  • You optimize serial production components through material and process analyses to increase manufacturing efficiency and sustainably reduce costs
  • You ensure close and coordinated cross-plant cooperation on regional optimization projects
  • You document "Lessons Learned" from optimization projects and make this knowledge available for future customer inquiries and new developments
  • You are actively involved in component production at the plants, conduct tests, and bear responsibility for material selection
  • You commission and coordinate laboratory tests and, as an organizational talent, ensure reliable compliance with development schedules
  • You support experienced colleagues throughout the entire product lifecycle – from feasibility analysis (material structure, dimensions, test scopes) to the industrialization phase of new products


Perfil

What impresses us:

  • You have successfully completed a technical education (HTL, FH, University)
  • You bring 3–5 years of professional experience
  • You enjoy working independently and responsibly
  • Very good English skills for international projects are mandatory; good German skills are an advantage
  • You possess routine IT skills, especially in dealing with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.
  • You are willing to travel up to 40%, depending on the respective project phase
  • You impress with a high level of initiative and a profoundly independent and responsible working style
  • A solution-oriented and structured approach is natural for you
  • You are flexible in thought and action. Your confident demeanor and pronounced communication strength distinguish you
