Treves UK are seeking a Controls Engineer to join the Maintenance Team in a Days based role.

Reporting in to the Maintenance Manager, the role will primarily be focused on providing technical support with respect to PLCs (mostly Siemens), Camera systems (Keyence) and inverters.

Responsibilities

Support the Maintenance team where required to assist with PLC fault finding to ensure maximum machine availability.

Ensure accurate software backups are available and up to date for all PLC programs on site.

Liaise with machinery manufacturers where required to make modifications and improvements to programs.

Liaise with Stores to combat obsolescence and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.

Create work instructions and train TUK staff in basic camera and plc connection and fault finding.

Qualifications

PLC Knowledge and experience (Primarily siemens)

Knowledge of data capture systems

Fault finding & problem solving skills

Network knowledge and understanding

Electrical knowledge (18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND)

Familiar with Google Sheets, Docs (or equivalent such as Microsoft Office)

Communication (Verbal and written)

Attention to detail.
