As our Lead Engineer, you will be the primary technical point of contact for our customers during the critical pre-award and RFQ phases. Your mission is to translate customer dreams into feasible, cost-effective, and high-quality reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Advocacy: Act as the technical face of Tredin, anticipating customer needs and lobbying for our innovative technical solutions and “design-to-cost” alternatives.

• Design & Feasibility: Lead the creation of product designs that meet stringent OEM requirements while ensuring they are manufacturable within target prices.

• RFQ Management: Drive the technical workstreams (BOM creation, material specs, process parameters) according to the D10 process flow and Group design rules.

• Strategic Reporting: Manage technical deliverables (CAD, CAE, prototypes) and report on KPIs such as D&D costs, Gross Margin, and Sustainability targets (CO2 footprint, recycled content).

• Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Technical Directors and internal experts (Acoustics, Simulation, Process) to eradicate risks and finalize the "Ok for costing" validation.

We are looking for a professional who balances engineering rigor with commercial savvy.

• Experience: Proven track record in automotive engineering, specifically within the RFQ or development phase of interior trim or acoustic systems.

• Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of product and process engineering, including BOM management and technical cost budgeting.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and "technical intimacy" skills—you know how to build trust with OEM stakeholders and influence decision-making.

• Sustainability Mindset: Knowledge of or interest in "Green Content" and carbon footprint reduction in manufacturing.

• Tools: Familiarity with PMT tools, CAD/CAE workflows, and structured project management (RACI/D10).

• Language: Fluency in English is required to coordinate with the Treves Group and global customers.
