To support our ongoing expansion, we are currently looking for a Materials, Process & Product Development Leader to join our team in Tabor.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze the product specifications.
  • Report the product technical feasibility and negotiate it with the customer.
  • Guide the product designer to build a “functional” product.
  • Lead the functional analysis and design FMEA, participate in Process FMEA.
  • Ensure that Product/Process chosen solutions match both customer needs and the company's industrial / purchasing orientation.
  • Participate to Tooling specs build to ensure product specs will be matched (geometry, validation plan, aspect).
  • Support the follow-up of the validation plan by proposing solutions to match the technical specifications.
  • Ensure materials consumption is in line with expectations. In case of deviation, propose corrective actions.
  • Track product evolutions until SOP The tool is TEAM CENTER (TIM).
  • Ensure compliance with the project schedule. Report gap to project manager

Perfil

What you bring

  • A degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in product development, material characterization, and industrialization (preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sectors).

  • Solid background in CAD design and reading 2D drawings, combined with hands-on experience using PLM/ERP tools like Teamcenter (TIM) and SAP for managing Bill of Materials (BOM).

  • Deep understanding of functional analysis, Design and Process FMEA, Design Validation Plans (DVP), and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) to drive productivity and cost optimization.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate technical feasibility with customers, define specifications for suppliers, and provide seamless support to manufacturing plants.

  • A track record of leading technical projects from initial concept through to Start of Production (SOP), ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met while identifying and mitigating technical risks.
