What You'll do
Facilitate creativity workshops to generate productivity ideas that innovate beyond core product lines. Identify new Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) opportunities, assess their technical feasibility, and build the technical budget. Participate in site VA/VE committees to provide targeted technical support when requested. Evaluate customer engineering change requests and lead technical feasibility reviews. Drive the implementation of approved customer modifications in compliance with standard serial life processes. Lead internal and external meetings, acting as the main communication link between teams, suppliers, and customers. Monitor quality incident feedback during serial production and escalate critical issues within the product line. Provide monthly follow-up reports on activities and maintain accurate data within customer portals.
What you bring
A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive) or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in the automotive industry, ideally with a focus on Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE), continuous improvement, or product engineering. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to assess product and process feasibility, as well as manage technical budgets. Experience facilitating creativity workshops and leading meetings with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers. Familiarity with automotive serial life processes, engineering change management, and quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on cost optimization and productivity. Business fluency in English and Czech.
