As the bridge between the core project team and the factory floor, you will be the guardian of our manufacturing standards and the architect of successful SOP (Start of Production) milestones.

As the Plant Manufacturing Launch Leader , you are the primary plant representative within the project core team. Your mission is to own the launch lifecycle, ensuring that every new program transitions from design to full-scale production with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Launch Leadership: Manage all launch tasks within the project review framework, ensuring every milestone is met from initial preparation to SOP + 6 months.

• Performance Tracking: Lead the “Run at Rate” preparation. You will track and report on critical KPIs including scrap rates, TRG (Total Rate of Grinding/Efficiency), labor rates, and action plan execution.

• Operational Readiness: Ensure a perfect match between customer demand and plant capacity, overseeing layout optimization, labor planning, and tool/equipment readiness.

• Standardization & Lean Excellence: Implement and maintain plant standards during ramp-up, including VSM (Value Stream Mapping), detailed work instructions, and the implementation of GAP boards with standardized data.

• Functional Management: Act as the central communication hub, translating complex project requirements into actionable tasks for the plant team.

We are looking for a rigorous, hands-on professional who understands the heartbeat of a manufacturing plant.

• Experience: Proven background in manufacturing engineering or launch management within the automotive industry (specifically interior trim or acoustic systems is a plus).

• Technical Expertise: Industrial / Mechanical Engineer with strong mastery of Lean Manufacturing tools (VSM, 5S, Standard Work) and industrialization processes.

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to deep-dive into production data, identify bottlenecks during ramp-up, and execute rapid “Run at Rate” action plans.

• Leadership: A natural communicator who can manage functionally across departments and motivate plant teams to meet strict OEM requirements.

• Rigor: Highly organized with a focus on matching customer expectations with impeccable shop-floor execution.
