We are looking for a Plant Quality Manager for our site in Aprilia.

Missions & Authorities

- Ensure, in the plant, the implementation and respect of quality policies and the quality management system according to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and internal requirements;

- Represents the customer at the plant.

- Owner of the management processes P20 and S20 in the plant.

- Ensure compliance with customer requirements from the industrialization phases.

- Plan the measures to guarantee the product quality.

- Manage the plant quality technicians.

- Proposes changes of the quality management system to improve it and adapt it to customer and other shareholders expectations in order to assure the organization's competitiveness. 

- Participates in the Plant Processes improvement plan.

- Leads on Product Safety and Conformity Representative (PSCR) related activities, while legal associated implications lie on the Plant Manager function.

General & Specific Activities

- Defines the needs and organizes the people in the Q function of the plant.

Manage and organize the quality function.

- Defines the budget for the function. Monthly Review and compliance.

- Assures that the PIP for the processes of the plant are correctly done and on time.

- Defines the annual PIP for the processes P20 and S20. Do monthly follow up and corrective actions where needed.

- Defines / Validates the annual Q targets for the plant.

- Responsible for achieving the targets of the Q KPIS for the plant.

Communication, actions plans, monitoring, …

- Assures reports (daily, weekly, monthly) are done correctly and on time.

- Assures that quality tools and manufacturing quality basics are correctly executed in the plant: QRQC, 8D, ….

- Leads with the plant manager the improvement towards excellence of thebusiness processes in the plant.

- Assures communication with the Group Quality team in all the areas.

- At least 5 years of experience in the role within international environments.

- A Degree in Engineering is preferred.

- Fluent English.

- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, and similar).

- Good knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications.

- Knowledge of Process FMEA and Control Plan tools.

- Proficiency in SAP and Office productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).

- Knowledge of French is a plus.
