As a Product Development Engineer, you own the technical integrity of your assigned products. You will balance customer performance requirements with Tredin’s industrial and financial goals, acting as the primary technical bridge until the product reaches mass production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Design Leadership: Analyze product specifications and lead functional analysis, Design FMEAs, and contribute to Process FMEAs.

• Customer Negotiation: Negotiate technical feasibility with customers and translate their requests into measurable targets for our purchasing, laboratory, and industrialization teams.

• Design & Validation: Guide product designers to build functional solutions, define Key Product Characteristics, and support validation plans to ensure every part meets technical specs.

• Operational Alignment: Ensure material consumption stays within budget and collaborate on tooling specifications to guarantee geometry and quality.

• Project Lifecycle Management: Track all product evolutions until SOP using Teamcenter (TIM), ensuring the project schedule is respected and technical targets are met across all functions.

• Industrial Support: Provide on-site technical support during pre-industrialization to ensure mass production performance.

We are looking for a proactive engineer who is as comfortable with technical data as they are with customer communication.

• Education & Experience: Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Materials Engineering with a solid background in product development within the automotive tier-1 sector.

• Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Teamcenter (TIM) or similar PLM tools is highly preferred.

• Technical Toolkit: Strong experience in FMEA (Design/Process), functional analysis, and interpreting complex product specifications.

• Analytical & Economic Mindset: Ability to track material deviations and propose corrective actions to keep projects on budget.

• Communication: Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to lead technical meetings with global customers and internal cross-functional teams.

• Language: Professional fluency in English is essential for coordinating within the international Treves Group network.
